the digidestined digimon are once more able to digivolve. Now, they gather around, discussing what's going to happen.
"We really need to return to the real world," Tai said pointedly. "We need to find out what's going on and that means planning."
All through their talking, Sam is silent. She has a secret. A secret that she keeps close--that she's not of their world or how they percieve their world. Where she comes from Tai, Matt, Kari, and them all are nothing more than characters on television. That her digimon is more her partner than theirs are. Sam sighs inauditably causing Mimi to look over at her in concern.
"Sam, is anything wrong? You seem sad," she questions.
"No. no, I'm fine. It's nothing," the girl smiles at Mimi.
"You seem, quiet," Mimi said.
Sam shook her head as a loud rumble comes about. The group, trying to keep their balance as a large crack appears, getting wider and wider until the group of digidestined fall with screams.
FINDING HERSELF BACK AT HER REAL HOME
Sam, landing in a pile of garbage, the girl looks around realizing she's back home, in her real home town.
Now, what just happened? How'd I get home. thinks. Getting to her feet Sam heads for home. Her thoughts on what had happened.
On her way home, she meets up with her best friends CORAL TANEU and DYLAN SUNAI. Perched atop Dylan's head are a pair of goggles, something Sam had never seen before on Dylan. Sam runs over to the two, who stop on seeing her.
"Hey Sam! How's it going?!" Coral asks on seeing Sam first.
"Not much. You hear about the Digital World?" Sam inquires, trying to find out if they know if anything strange has been going on.
"You mean the game?" Dylan questions but Sam shakes her head. "Or what happened two months ago?"
Sam shakes her head again.
"No, its real. And I've been there!"
Dylan and Coral stare at her in shock. They couldn't believe it! Two months ago, digimon had started showing up in the real world and then came that D-reaper. But D-Reaper was stopped by some kids probably about their age. How could Sam have gotten into the Digital World with no digivice or something? Continues to run through Dylan's and Coral's mind. Then they look at each other and back to Sam.
"How's that possible?" Coral asks.
Sam shrugs, taking the d-arc from her pocket to show them,
"With this."
Now Dylan and Coral gathers around Sam to better see the device. The small device or D-arc has a belthook where one can hook it to their belt. It is silent at the monet as well and is a silvery-pink color. Both Coral and Dylan looks at the digivice and took something from their pockets. Sam gasps as she saw that her friends also had d-arcs. Dylan's is red and Coral's blue.
"You got a d-arc too?"
Coral and Dylan only nods to her question. The three friends look at each other in silence for a while. The sound of vehicles going by and people talking is the only thing heard until a loud piing voice speaks up,
"Dylan, what's goin on? I hear you."
"Dylan, what?" Coral asks in shock.
"Oh!" Dylan begins, beginning to ruemove the backpack he has on his back. Coral and Sam look at each other then at Dylan, a question in their eyes.
"What are you doing Dylan?" Sam asks.
"With that d-arc I showed you, this came afterward," he said while taking out the small pink blob-like creature with a single horn at the top of its head. The creature had no feet as Dylan holds it in his hands. "This is Kacumon."
"Oh wow!" Coral exclaims staring at the digimon in Dylan's hands. She had no idea there were other digimon. "You know I have one too. Its name is Errowmon."
"Really? Where?" Sam asks curiously.
"Back home. That's where I'm going anyway. Want to see it?" Coral responds. Sam and Dylan nods. The, Dylan remembers something else,
"Hey, I saw three other with digimon."
Coral and Sam's mouths drop.
"Really?!" Coral exclaims.
"You know their names?" Sam asks.
Dylan frowns as he sought to remember the three's names,
"Um...Let me see," he begins. "One was Miyiru Iyori,then there was Imaru and last was Miyu."
Dylan adjusts the goggles he's wearing while looking at the two girls, who are silent.
Dylan now notices the two girls' simence and decides to break it by asking,
"What are you thinking about?"
Coral blinks at Dylan's question. She had been wondering about those other digimon and how those two had gotten theirs before Dylan had spoken. Now. the twelve year old looks fully at Dylan for a long while before answering,
"Just wondering how those two had totten their digimon. And that, I would like to meet them."
Coral and Dylan now turn to look at Sam, who still remains silent.
"Um Sam, you okay?" Dylan questions in concern.
Sam looks over at Dylan and Coral before nodding to them.
"Do you have a digimon Sam?" Coral asks now.
"Actually, I do," Sam said as she begins walking heading for home. Dylan and Coral follow her. "Her name's Pteramon. But she's home.... I think."
Coral and Dylan stares for a long time at Sam. Sam seemed so--so preoccupied about something. Like she was really REALLY worried about something or someone. Coral and Dylan didn't want to interrupt her contemplation, so they just settled on just walking with her, in silence.
LATER THAT DAY
Coral, Dylan, and Sam(Samantha) reaches the Isru home. The three enter and are greeted by Sam's REAL mother.
"Hello Coral. Hello Dylan. How was your day?" Mrs. Isru asks.
"It was fine, Mrs. Isru," Dylan and Coral spoke in unison. Mrs. Isru nods. She was wearing a pink short sleeved blouse and a blue skirt. An apron is tied about her waist as she greets her daughter's friends. Now, she looks over at her daughter with a smile,
"And how was your day, Samantha?"
"Fine." Sam answers. She looks at her mother fully now. "Me, Coral, and Dylan will be in my room, if you need us."
"Go ahead dear," Mrs. Isru says as she turns, returning in to the kitchen where she is cooking dinner.
Coral and Dylan follow Sam to her room.
SAMANTHA(SAM)'S ROOM
Coral moves over to the desk where Sam keeps her computer atop it. The room is definately a girl's room with its silvery pink color all around. Even the bedding on Sam's bed is silvery-pink. That is, except for the strange looking bright yellow and beige 'baby' teradactyl, lying on her bed face down.
Sam closes the door behind her since she's the last one to come in.
"Now this is so cool!" Coral exclaims from her position at Sam's desk. The girl is admiring her friend's computer.
Sam grins at that. The grin fades as the girl moves over to her bed, "Guys, this is Pteramon."
She indicates the yellow-beige 'stuffed' animal as it sits up and looks at Coral and Dylan.
"Hello Sam. Where are we?" Pteramon inquires.
"Pteramon, this is my real home. And these are my friends Coral and Dylan," Sam declares.
"Hi Pteramon," Coral and Dylan says staring at the digimon before looking at Sam.
"Sam, have you been to the digital world?" Coral asks.
"And if so, how?" Dylan qestions.
"Well I don't know how I got there but yeah, I've been there," Sam begins. "I also met Tai and Matt and all of them."
Coral and Dylan are startled at that. They look at each other then at Sam.
"But--But surely they're just television characters?" Dylan exlaims in question. Coral nods vigorously in agreement.
"I don't know how but I met them but in the digital world, they're real," Sam declares.
Coral gets all moony-eyed at this point muttering,
"Ooo! I would SO like to meet Tai. He's just so totally cute."
"Coral's got a crush on Tai," Dylan chants teasingly. Coral looks at him frowning.
"So? What of it?"
"Coral relax. Dylan's just teasing you. He doesn't mean it," Sam answers glaring at Dylan.
The three friends begin their homework. It wasn't that long however when Coral happens to look up at Sam's computer. It's glowing strangely.
"Um Sam, something's going on with your computer?"
Sam looks up focussing first on Coral then up at her computer as the monitor begins glowing.
"Pteramon, you know what's going on now?" Sam asks the digimo. Pteramon shakes her head moving over to the computer.
Suddenly, something comes flying through causing Pteramon to duck. The object hurtles through the air bouncing off the four walls before striking Coral. With a gasp, Coral caught it. She looks at what she caught and gasps. It is Erromon with its small egg shaped body and small pointed zebra-like ears.
"Errowmon?!" Coral gasps out.
"Errowmon?" Dylan and Samantha declares in unison causing Coral to look over at the two. Dylan's own digimon pops his body out of the boy's backpack to get a good look at Errowmon.
"Yeah, remember, I mentioned my digimon's name earlier," Coral says.
Sam and Dylan once again look at each other then at Coral.
"Oh? Oh yeah! Now I remember," Sam responds.
"Hi Pteramon. I see you found your tamer," Errowmon spoke looking over at the digimon.
"Yep. Same with you too Errowmon," Pteramon says in agreement. Errowmon nods.
"Hey! Don't foret me," Kacumon speaks up.
THE DIGITAL WORLD WITH TAI, MATT, AND THE OTHERS
after the pit had separated Samantha from them, the twelve digidestined began searching for her, to no avail. Now, they're resting and discussing plans for the next day.
"We have to find Sam, wherever she is," Ken speaks up. There is worry in his voice however.
"Don't worry Ken, we'll find her," Yolei says, laying a gentle hand on his arm. Ken turns to look at her and smiles back. Wormmon, looking up at Ken nods in agreement.
"Yes Ken, do not worry, we will find her. Besides, she's with Pteramn and Pteramon will not let anything happen to her."
Ken looks down at Wormmon, nodding,
"You're right Wormmon. Yolei."
"So, its settled, tomorrow we continue looking for Sam," Tai said.
"But Tai, I don't think Sam's even in the Digital World," Kari replies.
"You sure about that, Kari?" Matt asks now.
It is TK who answers his brother, "Kari's right Matt. Sam's no longer in the Digital World."
"But, where can she be then?" Sora asks and there is worry writ on her face.
"Back home, I believe," TK answers her.
"Maybe we should go back then?" Davis declares. Kari and TK only shrug.
"Come on, like, let's get some rest then," Mimi spoke. The rest only nod in agreement, laying down in their spots for a good night's sleep.
DARK CASTLE
SUROK is berating his minion, ZITAMON in anger for his failure in destroying the digidestined.
"You failed Zitamon! Those digidestined's digimon were helpless and you couldn't destroy them!"
"Master Surok, one digimon was not helpless," Zitamon protests. "And it was strong very strong."
"None of YOUR EXCUSES!" Surok bellows in a loud angry voice causing Zitamon to cringe at that sound and the red glow that flashes in Surok's eyes. "Well, now you have another chance. That digimon and its partner are gone. Back to the human's world. Now destroy those digidestined! Now!"
"Yes Master," Zitamon declares, leaving Surok's presence with something like relief.
WITH SAM, CORAL, AND DYLAN
the three friends leave Sam's room and are about to leave the apartment when they are stopped by Mrs. Isru, Samantha's mother. The woman is standing in the doorway of the kitchen, a cooking spoon in one hand.
"And were do you think you're going at this time of night?"
Sam looks over at her mother before answering,
"Mom, we gotta find somebody."
"Oh? Who?" Mrs. Isru questions.
"Mom, we'll be fine but we really need to go," Sam says in a pleading tone of voice. Mrs. Isru stares at her daughter, the girl is so like her before sighing,
"Go but be back before elevan, okay."
"I will," Sam responded. She and her friends began putting on their shoes that're at the door. Shoes on, Sam turns to look at her mother, Dylan, and Coral are waiting outside the front door. "Thanks mom."
Sam closes the door as the three friends leave.
OUTSIDE OF SAM'S BEDROOM WINDOW
the two girls and boy await, looking up. Then, a shadow drops down before them. It is Pteramon.
"Okay Dylan, lead the way," Sam whispers. The three children and single digimo begins to move, heading for the last place Dylan had met those other three people with digimon with them.
SOME DISTANCE AWAY
Dylan suddenly stops and stares. Sam and Coral nearly run into his back.
"Dylan, warn us when you stop like that," Coral complains. Dylan turns his head to look back at her.
"There they are," he says, pointing over at the three. Sam and Coral turn to look to see three young people; two girls and one boy of nine years of age. The three each have a digimon with them. Coral looks at Sam.
"So, its true. Dylan was right about seeing other digimon," she said. Sam only nods.
"So, let's go talk to them already," Pteramon declares, speaking up already.
Pteramon starts walking towards the three. Sam turns her head to see Pteramon moving away and runs to join her digimon partner, calling out at the same time,
"Pteramon! Wait up!"
Coral and Dylan catch up with the two.
Across the way, MIYIRU, IMARU, and MIYU are talking among each other when Miyu happens to see Pteramon, Sam, Dylan, and Coral coming toward them.
"Hey Miyiru! Imaru! Miyu! These are my friends Sam and Coral," Dylan calls out to the three as they approach. Wisamon, Metamon, and Yonomon are staring at Pteramon in curiousity.
"I'm Pteramon," Sam's digimon speaks causing Miyiru, Imaru, and Miyu to look at the digimon. They're in a state of shock for a few minutes.
"Now, this is wierd. How's this even possible?" Imaru questions. No one has the answer as they start moving.
Coming toward a shop that has computer moniters for sale in the window, the six are silent. It is Pteramon however, who happens to look at the window. The computer monitor closest to the window seems to be glowing. A glow the digimon recognizes. As the children are approaching, the glow becomes more intense.
"Sam! Look ou---!" 'Coral began her shot, but it was too late. Too late for them all as the glow completely surrounds them all, getting brighter and brighter. Then the glow disappears, taking the group of kids with it.
DIGITAL WORLD
the six get to their feet, their digimon staying close. They begin looking around. Coral, Dylan, Imary, Miyu, and Miyiru are in awe. Sam, however begins to move away, Pteramon following. It is Dylan who happens to notice Sam and Pteramon moving away. Tucking Kacumon under his arm he quickly starts moving toward the two.
"Hey Sam! Where are you going? Wait up!"
Sam, hearing Dylan's voice stops and turns,
"I'm looking for the others," she responds. Coral, Imaru, Miyu, and Miyiru hear Dylan's voice before following after. The five stop before Sam.
"Others?" Miyiru asks looking baffled.
Sam nods.
"Yeah Matt, Tai, Sora, Kari, and the rest."
The five stare at Sam in shock. They had no idea that the characters from the show even existed. Sam saw the looks of astonishment written on their faces and nods in agreement.
"Yeah. I was kinda shocked when I first saw them but here they're as real as you or me."
"Now, that can't be. How could they exist when in our world they're nothing more than cartoon characters?" Imaru asks. Imaru thinks fast. Her mind, being more logical than the others, preferring to think things through before believing. That is what makes Imaru's one of the top tamers in the Digimon Tamers card game, her logical mind.
Sam looks at her and shrugs,
"I don't know Imaru. But once you see them, you'll believe."
"Maybe we crossed some kind of dimensional gateway or something," Miyu questions.
BOOM!!!!
"What WAS THAT?!!!" Coral shouts out. Her eyes moving toward the sound. In fact, they all look toward it, in the same general direction.
"I don't know. Sounds like some kind of an explosion," Sam declares.
BOOOOMMMM!!!!
It comes again. This time a pillar of smoke and dust rises in the air.
"Let's go check it out then," Miyiru declares, beginning to run toward the source. The others lok at each other, before following.
IN THE DISTANCE
the six notice the large black wall and what seems to be some digimon in their rookie forms attacking it.
"Whoa? What are they doing?" Dylan questions. He takes up his d-ark and looks at it. A round light appears above the d-ark revealing a picture.
"Biyomon. Rookie Bird of the Vaccine Type. Attacks with Spiral Twister."
"Cool!" Dylan exclaims.
"Acturally, Dylan, thats Sora's partner," Sam answers. Dylan looks at her.
"I know that."
"I think you should all look closer," Sam spoke again. her gaze is on the group watching the digimon attack---something. Staring at the group, Dylan's mouth drops in shock.
"No way!" he exclaims causing the others to look at him.
"What?" Coral asks.
"T--That's Tai over there!" he answers pointing.
"That's impossible!" Imaru exclaims blushing hotly. Ever since she had seen the show Imaru has had a major crush on Tai. A closely guarded secret that Imaru continues even now to keep.
"Come on you guys! Let's go!" Sam exclaims beginning to run toward the group.
Close enough to hear, the six are able to pick up on the conversation.
"This wall is strong. Stronger than our digimon," Kari, Tai's sister's voice comes to their ears.
"We have to destroy this wall or our digimon won't be able to fight this evil," now it is Sora's voice.
"Without Samantha and Pteramon, its hopeless," Ken announced.
Imaru, Coral, Dylan, and the rest look at Sam in shock. They had no idea Samantha had met them.
"Sam? What is that about? Did you really meet Tai and the others?" Dylan questions, breaking the shocked silence.
Sam grins figuring it would've been Dylan to ask questions first.
"Yeah. I found myself in their world at met them all." Sam spoke, a sweatdrop appearing. "I even helped them at one point. Come on, lets go meet them."
Sam and Pteramon takes off running as they have no choice but to follow after her.
AHEAD WITH THE GROUP OF DIGIDESTINED AND THEIR DIGIMON
they're still discussing how to take down the Control Wall. It is Yolei who noticies the group coming toward them.
"Hey, we got company," she said pointing toward the group.
Their digimon move before them, really for anything.
The six figures revolve themselves into Sam, Pteramon, and five others, with digimon.
"Thats Sam," Cody says, pointing at the girl.
Waiting as Sam and her friends come to a stop before them, they stare at Sam's companions.
"Hey Sam, who's your companions?" TK asks.
"Friends from my world," Sam answers causing the group's mouths to drop.
"What do you mean, from your world?" Izzy finds his voice to ask her.
"Simple. Where I come from, all of you are characters on television. There's a game called digimon where we have these cards with different digimon and modify cards we use to make the digimon stronger. I haven't really used them since at the moment my digimon didn't need them," Sam begins.
"Don't forget the Digimon computer games, Sam," Miyu says.
"Yeah. But thats like the card game but played on the computer."
"So, let me get this straight. In your world we're not real?" Joe asks. Sam and her friends nod. "But how'd you get here?" Joe adds in question.
The five look at each other then back at the group.
"We don't know," Miyui spoke up.
Before they can say anymore, however, a massive digimon makes its appearance.
"What?!" Matt questions in shock.
Sam holds up her d-arc as the other digidestined watch. The d-arc was way different from theirs. Samantha aims her d-arc at the digimon. She reads the data that appears in the center.
"Hm, Shumimimon. Champion level. Its attacks are Metal Blast. Now that is bad, real bad."
"Shuminimon?" Davis questions. "That's new. But we can defeat it!"
"And strong," Coral answers.
"You digidestined will be destroyed and my master will rule," Shuminimon says in a voice like thunder.
"Come on Dylan, lets take that digimon out! I can do it! I know I can!" Kacumon declares practically bouncing in the boy's arms. Dylan looks at his digimon partner shaking his head,
"Not as you are, Kacumon. And I don't want to lose you."
"But I can do this," Kacumon said.
"Same here," Wisamon says to Imaru.
"Please Coral," Errowmon pleads.
"Come on Miyu," said Metamon.
"Yeah!" Yomomon shouts.
Dylan, Imaru, Coral, Miyu and Miyui look at each other then at their digimon partners, then to Shuminimon and back. Shuminimon swipes out with its tail knocking the digidestined digimon to the ground.
Looking closely at Sam and her friends' faces, a look of anger is revealed.
"Thats it!" Imaru speaks up as she takes up her d-arc. "Let's do this."
The other five nod in agreement as they take up their d-arcs.
"Digimodify!"
They each have a card in hand slashing it through their d-arcs.
"Digivolution Activate!"
Tai and the group watch as the newer digimon digivolve.
"Metamon digivolve too---Infomon!"
"Wisamon digivolve too--Wiscamon!"
"Errowmon digivolve too--Carrowmon!"
"Kacumon digivolve too--Maniamon!"
"Yomomon digivolve too--Flavmon!"
"Pteramon digivolve too--Equamon!"
Imaru, Dylan, Coral, Miyu, and Miyari all stare at their digimon in shock during their digivolution. Only Sam watches with a grin, knowing that the bad digimon had no chance now.
"Let's do this!" Miyari exclaims.
The six digimon move quickly before the other evil digimon.
"We'll take care of Shuminimon," Infomon declares.
"Go for it!" Gabumon answers as they return to their digidestined sides. The six newer digimon are now up close to Shuminimon.
"Wind Blast!" Equamon begins sending a huge blast of wind toward Shuminimon.
"Blended---Marshes!" Carrowmon declares, dozens of dark blue colored bubbles pour forth to light on Shuminimon's body. The bubbles pop covering Shuminimon from head to feet in its sticky mass.
"What--is-- this?" Shuminimon bellows in anger trying to free itself.
"How about this then! FREEZING EXPLOSIVE BALL!" Maniamon shouts.
The digimon at the beginning had risen its paw beginning to form a large gold ball of light that continues to grow before Maniamon launches the attack. Flavmon launches itself high in the air, its butterfly-like wings fanning quickly. The digimon cupped its leafy-hands together creating a small sparkling ball with the center.
"Spore---Flight!" Flavmon said loudly releasing the spores over Shuminimon.
"Battle Mirror!" Wiscamon shouts out as numerous hand mirrors appear heading for Shuminimon.
"Cyber--Blast!" Infomon loudly announces.
The combination of the six attacks practically merge, striking Shuminimon at the same time.
"Arg! NOooo!" Shuminimon shouts while becoming digidust. The six digimon absorb the data before it completely dissapates.
SOMETIME LATER
the six friends are among the group of digidestined they thought were characters on the television. They are discussing how the six--er five. Well six actually know so much about digimon, the digidestined and how they could have come here to the Digital World.
"So, you're really from another Earth? That is too cool!" Mimi declares looking over at the group though her eyes kept returning to Dylan.
"Thats about it. Up until our coming here, you guys were television characters and digimon is--er was a card game," Miyari answers.
"Hm, maybe the reason why you came is because of this new evil," Izzy began thoughtfully causing everyone to look at him.
"How'd you come to that conclusion Izzy?" Tai asks.
"From what they said. On their Earth, digimon is a game and a television show. So, suffice to say, some kind of dimensional rift has been opened, bringing them here," Izzy explains.
"Um, that makes sense. I guess," Tai said.
"So, what do we do now?" Davis questions.
"We have to find out more about this Surok and stop him," Cody responds with a shrug.
"Then let's do this," Kari spoke up softly.
As they are making plans, a loud rumbling is heard and felt. Sam's the first one to notice and speaks up,
"What is that rumbling?"
The group look at her before the rumbling comes again, louder this time.
"Whatever it is, its huge," Sora says.
Something huge and mean comes at them, causing the group to jump to their feet and run....
