Does the monkey know

Three monkeys dining once in a coconut tree,

Were discussing some things they had heard true to be,

Open your ears and listen you two,

Monkeys are something that cannot be true.

Humans descended from our noble race,

Why it is shocking a terrible disgrace,

Have you ever known of a monkey, so selfish to be,

To build a fence round a coconut tree

And not let others monkeys get a wee taste,

But let all the coconuts there go to waste,

Surely starvation would force you to steal from me.

And here's another thing monkeys won't do,

Crouse and go on a whoop,

Then reel madly home and beat up his wife,

They call this all pleasure and make a big fuss,

They have descended from something,

 But certainly not from us.
