Limbaugh Chapel was started in 1930, with a group of people who assembled in one of the old fashion brush arbors. The church currently sits on property donated by Bro. Tillman Limbaugh. Limbaugh Chapel became a member of the Congregational Holiness Churches in 1935.

History of the Congregational Holiness Church
The Congregational Holiness Church, with International Headquarters in Griffin, Georgia, was organized in 1921. The Church was chartered in August of 1925. Historically placed in the Wesleyan (Holiness) wing of the Pentecostal movement. The Congregational Holiness Church Inc. embraces the cardinal Christian doctrines such as the Divine Trinity, the inspiration of the Holy Scriptures and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of the experience. The Church believes in the immaculate conception of Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection. The Church teaches the imminent, personal premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ. In relationship with other denominations the Articles of Faith of the Congregational Holiness Church states, "We believe the Bride of Christ is composed of the entire Spiritual Church." The Congregational Holiness Church practices an open door of fellowship.
