| The La Mesa Dam is the only watershed located near Metro Manila. Some years back and until now the overflowing of water at this dam caused many floods in low-lying areas. Now it is near garbage coming from the Payatas dumpsite and is very prone to pollution. There are many landfills near this dam. |
