Mount Pilatus

This mountain was named after Pontius Pilate. It was said that he died and was burried here. Every year at Good Friday, Pontius Pilate would appear, trying to wash his bloody hands in lake Luzern!

Mount Pilatus, 7000 feet!

One for the record, just in case I don’t make it back in 1 piece!

Oh yeah, now they tell me after climbing 500 feet!

Hmmm, should I turn back, but look at the view!!!

Wow!

Double Wow! Lake Luzern, the lake that Pilate (or the ghost of him) washes his hand every Good Friday.

Swiss Alps, a little reward for reaching 7000 feet.

Yeah!!! Made it to the top in 1 piece!!!

Oh yeah, nothing like a fresh cup of coffee at 7000 feet above ground level!!!

And now they tell me there is a cable car service from the other side of the mountain!!!
