REMOTE CONTROL & MONITORING BY DIGITAL GSM MOBILE PHONE

ABSTRACT
A device used for remote controlling and monitoring by digital GSM mobile phone has been developed. The device was built with MCS51 microcontroller. Commanding was formulated with SMS technology. The device is capable of providing 8-channel relay output. For monitoring mode, the device accepts 2-channel pulse,1-channel analog input and 8-bit digital input. The 8-bitdigital input was designed for interfacing the water level sensor.

HARDWARE DESIGN
In part of Electronics board include, power supply unit, analog input, 8-bit digital input, two channel interrupt input and output relay which can control AC power at 250V/10A. For Power supply unit, it has two source, AC 220V and Batterry. This PCB was desinged by using OrCAD software. In part of communication, use mobile phone with SIM card in GSM standard. In Thailand, can use SIM card from every company GSM network. AIS, TA Orange, and Other company network is GSM standard.

CONCLUSIONS
RCM can monitor value of analog signal from sensor. Example, temperature sensor, pressure sensor to user by mobile phone in SMS form. Use for monitor value of electrical energy from solar cell or monitor the puls signal which same as the counter. And use for monitor the water level. In addition, RCM can work in control mode that user can turn on or turn off the light or control motor on-off by mobile phone. User can contorl or get data from RCM everywhere in GSM area.
