INTRODUCTION
Q: Is this class hard? A: Well...let's see. How do I feel today? Hey! I thought this section is supposed to be about ME, not about my class. OK, OK, OK...This class is challenging, but not impossibly hard. If you study hard and communicate with me in regards to your understanding of the content and your ability to problem solve, you should do quite well. Q: What is your first name? A: Lily Q: You don't look like a lily. How did you end up with that name? A; My mom thumbed through a dictionary, saw the word, liked it, and the rest became history. Q: What is your favorite flower? A: Can't you guess by now? Q: How old are you? A: I don't remember. Q: Are you 40 years old? A: Do I look that old to you?? Q: No! You must be in your 20s. A: Early 20s or late 20s? Q:. Umm...late 20s? You have to be. You said you have been teaching for awhile! A: Humph! some people say that I look like a teenager! Q: But... A: Forget it. You are starting to insult me. Q: Do you have a boyfriend? A: What do you think? Do I look like someone who has the time for one? Q; So does that mean you don't have a boyfriend? A: Did I say I didn't? Wait a minute! Are you insulting me, insinuating that I am not good enough to have a boyfriend? Q: But you said you did not have the time for one. A: When did I say that? Next question! Q: Why did you become a teacher and do you like it? A; Teaching is a calling and yes, I like it except when certain un-named students give me the hardest time. You know who you are. Q: What is your favorite color? A: All pretty colors.
The following are some questions students actualy asked me about me. I thought this might be a nice simple way to introduce myself. More to come...
