| The building is buried between rows of trees. Snow never leaves it's roof top or sidewalk. Heading from the main road you see a lake of clear blue water with a gazeebo deck floating idly on it. To the east of the porch that wraps tightly around the old heavy oak door is the pavement parking lot. The building it's self holds the look of an old style village cottage on the outside. Colors of creams and browns give it a rustic look. Inside the look is much more modern. In the middle against the west wall is a Dj stereo with dancer cages on each side. On normal weekdays the Dj area is empty. Cages left bare except on weekends or private parties. The Tavern also held the latest in Jukeboxes, pool tables, dart boards, and pin ball machines. It was well lighted but not to bright however. There are three bar tenders, 4 waitresses, and many cooks. The bar set on the east wall. It blocked the customers from getting to the kitchen without slipping over or around the bar and by the tenders. A window dotted the wall between shelves of hard liquor. Where the cooks and tenders could talk while they were busy. The walls were dotted with pictures of people that most of the tavern go-ers don't know. One was the owner of the tavern. The rest were friends and family members of her. Along the southern wall a set of stairs spiralled upwards to the rooms. There were only ten rooms but they were hardly ever all taken. By the stairs were the doors to the restrooms. Womens to the left Mens to the east. Another door dotted the same wall as the kitchen door. It was clearly labeled supplies. A guess could be made that this is the room that held liquor, food, and bathroom objects. Spanning the tops of all the tabels were well designed Menus . Along the walls around the fireplace were large welcoming couches. |
