My day started at 8:30am at the train station, where I met my 3 mates Sarah, Vikki and Sam. As we live miles away from Reading we had to get a train into London, then to Paddington (saw Paddington bear :) ) and then another train to Reading! Phew, long day! So by the time we got to Reading, we were starving so we got a Maccy D's (yummy) and then we just plonked ourselfs on a bus. Thankfully, it took us to Rivermead where the concert was. We were with a whole load of Darius fans with a huge banner and T-shirts! LOL! But it was OK because they let us under theior umbrellas! Once we were in the field, there was food and a funfair but we went straightto the stage and stayed there until the concert actually started......2 hours later! It was cold and wet and raining but we were all happy and so it was ok! There were quite a few rubbish bands on but there were some great ones such as Hear'say (yes thet were actually pretty good!), Liberty X, All Stars, Zoe and Darius (who only did 1 song!). Then finally, after 6 hours standing in the wind and rain, the sun came out and Will came on! He was worth the wait. He had a funky cream hat on and just looked great! He sang Evergreen first which was just amazing with 20, 000 people singing it with him! Then he did an amazing version of Ain't No Sunshine and he finished with Light My Fire. He was totally great and even though he only did 3 songs, and Ive now got a cold, it was COMPLETELY worth the wait! We all went home on a HUGE high singing Will songs......until we got to the train station. We were just so tired we slept!
Basically it was an amazing day, as Will would say, very surreal! It was great to see him in the flesh and hear him sing live, Can't wait until I see him again!
