| Our first stop was the animal resort located at Seletar West Farmway 5, which is very near to the Everbloom mushroom farm. The guide was very clear in her explanation of the animals in the farm and we were given packets of feeds to feed the animals. There were many flamingoes, peahens, swans, chickens, guinea pigs etc. We also had a chance to touch and feed the horse, goat and the kois. However, the farm is quite small and my sons prefered the zoo even though the close contact with the animals was appreciated. |

| Our next stop was the Singapore Discovery Centre and I must say that my sons had great fun there! The guide brought us through the Singapore Dynamics Gallery which we had a chance to see some of the scenes from the past. It was much fun watchng Dino Land in the Motion Simulator and the 3-D show in the theatre. We were also taken on a 30 minutes bus ride on the SAFTI campus which was built on a 88 hectare plot of land. The Military Institute is a training ground for officers from the Army, Navy and the Airforce. The virtual reality games were fun too but the most memorable part of the tour was the magic show cum balloon sculpturing in the hospitality suite. My son, Chris, was so delighted that he could not stop laughing. The Shooting Gallery attracted a long queue and I did not have a chance to try the simulated M16. I would strongly recommend the SDC to you and I must say there is much more to unravel! |
