Educational Tour to Farmart 24 May 2002
Looking for fishes?
Goats at the animal corner. Other animals include turkeys, chickens and even some cats!
A close-up photograph of the horse-shoe crab and the stone fish.
Look at the baby sharks!
Wow! That's a live cuttlefish and look at the stonefish below it, it is actually alive although it looks like a stone!.
Can you spot the Queen Bee? It is bigger than the rest of the worker bees. The bees actually find their hives through smell.
333 of our Sec 1 students visited Farmart on 24 May 2002. Farmart is located in the Sungei Tengah Agrotechnology Park, an area which was planned by the government for the development of  high tech farms as land is limited in Singapore. The students had a chance to feed the goats at the animal corner and for some students, it was also the first time they had ever seen a turkey. We also learnt more about the bees and the making of honey. What I had found to be the most interesting was the aquarium where we had the chance to look at the baby sharks and the stone fish.
