Chek Jewa is a living classroom for children and adults. One can look and touch some of the marine life, such as this hermit crab.
Two species of sea anemone can be found here. The carpet anemone looks like a gigantic flower, while the tube anemone has white tentacles. Sticky to the touch, these carnivores have a central mouth and tentacles that hold fast onto marine life when they are threatened.
