| The Ambitious Card |
| Effect: A selected card keeps jumping to the top of the pack no matter how many times the card is placed in the middle. Then the card is blatenly placed into the middle only to be found in the magicians mouth. |
| Meathod: 1. Have a card selected and returned. Control it to the top. 2. Do some false shuffles keeping the card on top. Then get the card second to top with another false shuffle. |
| 3. Preform the double lift showing that their card has jumped to the top. Return the double to the top of the pack. 4. place the top car which they think is theirs into the middle of the pack. Then turn over a double showing that apperently their card isnt on top. Do not return this double. Use the double to flip over the second card and say, your card isn't second to top either. Then put the double over the single and flip them both over. This, if done correctly will put the selected card second from the top. 5. Do a riffle and say that if you do this riffle their card will return to the top. Then double lift, showing their card. 6. Return the double to the top and take the bottem half of the pack. Fan it and push the top card (which they think is theirs) halfway into the fan. Hold the fan out and have the spectator push the card fully into the fan. 7. As they do this take the top half of the deck and bring it to your mouth. Place the top card (thier card) into your mouth. 8. Then extend your left arm with this pack and riffle saying tell me when to stop. They will say stop and place the whole right hand half into the spot they told you to stop remarking that they'e card is now definently in the middle. Then ask them to look for their card. Most will look through the whole deck before realizing it is in your mouth. |
