Brooke smiled and sat down inbetween Tyler and Lindsi on the bench outside of school late friday night. She had just finished her talent show preformence of singing Britney Spear's Overprotected and was to meet her two friends outside immediately afterwards.
"You were amazing," Lindsi giggled, leaning over and giving her friend a gentle hug. Her face was completely healed and not a scar was present. It looked as if nothing had ever happened.
"What?" Brooke questioned, a sly grin plastered across her face.
"You were awesome, marvelous, remarkable," Tyler listed with a laugh.
Brooke laughed, standing up and grabbing onto their hands, pulling them from where they sat on the bench. "C'mon, let's go get some ice cream from baskin robins. Listen, it's on me."
Lindsi grinned, "I thought you were broke?"
She smirked, "My brother's girlfriend works there, I get free ice cream late friday nights."
Tell them what I like, what I want and what I don't. But everytime I do, I stand corrected. Things that I've been told, I can't believe what I hear about the world. I realize I'm overprotected.
Walking over to Laura, Gil embraced her in a soft hug. "I'm sorry for ever hurting you. I was, well, I was turning into my brother's past."
"It's okay," Laura grinned, a wool hat covering over her head due to the fact that most of her hair had been forcefully ripped out. As Gil pulled away from her, she winced slightly as his coat sleave brushed against her black eye and bruised right cheek.
With a grin, Tal ran up to where Gil and Laura were standing. "Hey, you know what...if Laura shaved off all of her hair, you two would really look like and guy and girl couple. Considering that fact, Gil looks like a girl!"
"Shut up," Gil hissed, "You don't look any better."
"Actually, I'm quite sexy don't you think?"
"Uggh, no. And go away."
"Can't."
"Why not?"
"Because your my brother, I have the right to piss you off every day."
I don't need nobody telling me just what I wanna. What I what what what I'm gonna do about my destiny. I say no, no... nobody's telling me just what I wanna... do do. I'm so fed up with people telling me to be someone else but me...
