| Due to his Fractured hip and the lack of funds to help vet him, he was due to be Euthanized. We couldn't allow that, he deserves more . Travis is now doing well, his hips healed on their own, just like us humans. So he might have some arthritis issues later on, but he is doing great.. Wagging his tail and hopes find a home soon. He does walk with a wabble but runs with the rest of them. He is being treated for Heartworms. He is still abit shy but would be a loving pet once he gets a great new understanding home. August '08 Travis had to have his tail docked, it had nerve damage which in turn got infected... Now he is doing just fine!!!! |

| Hello, I am Demi, Female Chihuahua. I have been diagnosed with Demodectic Mange. This is a Hereditary mange and is not contagious. It comes about when stressed out. I was treated and am doing great. Because of my condition, they are asking for a home without small kids. With this we hope to reduce the chances of stress and breaking out again. I am very playful and love to give kisses. Hope you come to see us soon!!! |

| We all are tempted by the cute cuddly creature wrapped up as a present. 3 out of 5 pets given as gifts, are soon abandoned after the Holiday season is over. Some of these pets come from " Puppy Mills". Most come with no shots or from poor sanitary situations, and ill. 1 out of 3 pets in shelters are ' pure' breed. Nothing wrong with them but needing some love and understanding. Please research your Breed before you get one. Over 70 Million where Euthanized, or where abandoned, abused, or killed under our tires.. Think about it. Why breed or buy? While rescues are left behind? PLEASE SPAY/NEUTER!! We don't need more unwanted pets. |

| Ol' Girl is a shy and quiet little girl. She came to us with 2 others. Ol' Girl loves to eat peanut butter, and loves to sit in your lap. She needs a place to live comfortably ,and somone to love her.. She has Arthritis in her feet so needs a grassy lawn to run on but woudl make anyone a great friend. |

| Say a big hellp to our very happy, and lovable Trance.. She came to us heartworm positive, even at a very young age. She is so full of energy , and has lots of love to give. She loves kids and loves to play.. all she needs now is a second chance. |
| He had an eye infection when he arrived and it did distort his vision some. He is almost totally blind. Once he gets used to his inviroment he picks up quick and he does see some. Would make a great companion for someone who wants that quite type kid. Must meet to appreciate what he can share in life. He lives up to his name. |

| Say hi to Lion. Our own little fluff ball.Lion is a very loving dog, yet he is very possesive when it comes to sharing attention and trys to scare off other dogs because he wants it all. He has one bad back knee & He has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and on meds that has helped him out tremendously. With love and care he will have a long healthy life ahead. All he needs is someone to love and understand him . |
