When I say..."I am a Christian"
I`m not shouting "I am saved"
I`m whispering "I get lost!"
"That is why I chose this way."

I don`t speak of this with pride.
I`m confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

I`m not trying to be strong.
I`m professing that I`m weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

I`m not bragging of success.
I`m admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

I`m not claiming tobe perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I`m worth it.

I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I`m loved.

Heavenly father please hear me tonight
i need so much guidance to live my life right
Sometimes the pressure is so hard to bear
I often wondered if anyone cared
how can I wake up and grace a new day
Knowing I have to live my crazy life this way
Heavenly father forgive all my sins
I want to change but, Where do I begin?
Give me the strength the wild life i desire
Help me get away from the nightly gunfire
Please god, bless my family who`s eyes silently plead for me not to go as i leave
And God, bless my mother who cries everynight
Worrying I`ll be killed in another gang fight

It was a dark cold night, And no one was around
She told him, Lets get out of town
During the ride she had nothing to say
She just sat back and looked the other way
He knew something was wrong from the words they had lacked
He stopped and parked on the railroad track
Finally she said "i must set you free,
My parents said we cannot be."
He took out a piece of paper and began to write
Then he said "read it tonight"
All of a sudden he was drowned in fears
He bit his lip to fight his tears
He turned around to be out of sight
She looked out the window and saw a strange light
She turned to him too late to say what she had sighted
Within a few seconds the metal collided
The last thing she remembered was blood running red
And someone saying "i`m sorry, he`s dead"
She reached into her pocket and took out the note
And stared sadly at the message he wrote,
Her eyes started burning and she started to cry
The note simply read "without u, i`ll die!"
