Entry for April 6, 2007
What a glorious Spring day is this Good Friday. We woke up with snow on the ground in central PA. Our day was filled great thankfulness that our Savior sacrificed all for each of us. We purchased fertilized muscovey duck eggs this week along with a female Dutch rabbit. Isn't our latest calf addition adorable? His name is Hershey. Sweettart and Hershey, the young calves, share the back pen at our house. My knuckles are cut and bloody from calves bullying me at mealtime. Alas, we enjoy having them, but I will be happy when my coat no longer is sticky with milk replacer residue. I am incubating the duck eggs and laying chicken eggs for possible sale at a benefit yard sale on Memorial Day Weekend. Email me for details!
