YAHOO!  Healthy twins arrived tonight right before dark when we were returning from seeing "Charlotte's Web" on the big screen.  We debated whether we should check the goats again as we had checked thme just a few hours earlier, and viola!  There was actually triplets, but one was just such a runt that she never even took a breath. :-( I was glad I was there to assist as I had to break the bag on one kid.  Caramel, the mother, is an excellent, attentative mother with tons of milk, but she seemed overwhelmed with three as she was still contracting to pass the placenta.  I just checked on the kids again, and they seem content and sleepy.   I will post pics soon!  Curly was just bred today, so she will be due at the end of May.
