Christmas is almost here, and we are enjoying everything that surrounds the celebration of Christ's birth-caroling, cookies, the smell of pine in the house, the church Christmas program, among many other things. I've attached a picture of the children singing at the program. They did a fantastic job!
The vet checked our heifer calf, Annabelle, last night, and we were disappointed to discover that she is indeed a freemartin. This is the first calf that we have taken the time to lead-train, so it will be sad to give her up. Let us know if you know anybody interested in an Angus cross calf. She is friendly and completely harmless.
Merry Christmas to all. We are hoping at least two goats will kid over the week, so that will keep us busy!
