Very few things make my husband nervous. Quite frankfully, he is not a nervous fellow. Yet I make him nervous especiallly on days like today. I ventured "over the mountain" to attend a meeting of the Keystone Goat Producers, and I took a blank check. A simple meeting doesn't make him nervous, but my dear spouse knew the locale of the meeting which happens to be my favorite place to go goat shopping.... :) So, thanks to my pal, Sherrie, I welcomed doe Cheyenne to the herd today.
We are feeding too many animals. Ironic how I make this statement after just adding to the goat herd, huh? I think we are feeding too many different types of animals. Alas, the pullets will soon lay, so they can go which will be a big help. We are feeding four horses, and I think that is two too many. Can anybody out there offer a loving home to a fiesty and aged 11 hand pony or an underweight stud? Decisions, decisions. Thankfully my husband is very patient. :) The pony may just have to stay until he falls over permanently as pets like him do not come along very often
Today was a first for me.....yes, I finally ate goat meat! Yummy!
