Tonight Ruby was the last doe to kid, and she presented us with a large paint buck.  Kidding is such an exciting time of year that I have a bit of disappointment to see it end.  They did kid so closely together that they should be able to wean together as well. 

I attached a picture of Caramel that I took immediately after she delivered two doe kids about a week ago.  Take note of how she pushed all the fresh straw to side to have her kids.... She was pawing away at the ground to try to find a perfect spot even after the kids arrived. 

Hopefully I can take a few goat kids where I work as I know children will love them.  Last year, I took an Angus calf, and it was neat to see young kids take the calf for a walk during recess.
