Alas, goat kids are finally arriving.  It is a day of excitement and sadness as one was caught partially in its sack, and I think it would have been ok if I would have been there just 30 minutes earlier.  I arrived as the doe, Caramel passed her afterbirth.  She had 3 does (2 completely black does which one died) and another black-headed doe.  We decded it would be a Dukes of Hazard year with goat names, so the kids are Daisy and Lulu.  Lulu is having a hard time drinking as she is convinced her Momma's milk is available at her neck?!?  Caramel is a patient and good mother with lots of milk, so all looked well.  Yahoo!  We expect the other kids within a week as they all usually cycle close together.
