Fujitaka is the father of Sakura and Touya and is first scene in episode one. He teachers archeology at the university and does at one time give a speech to Sakura's class. Fujitaka met his wife, Nadeshiko, at the university. At the time she was a student and he was a teacher. They first met when Nadeshiko fell out of a tree onto Fuji. Sadly Nadeshiko died seven years ago and he still loves her greatly to this day. He keeps many of her pictures around the house to remind him of her. He is also expects much of Touya and Sakura. Though he is very demanding of them he is very kind and loving. But he does not let them do everything around the house. While being a university professor he is also very good at other things such as cooking. He usually makes pudding and what not for Touya and Sakura to snack on. To bad for Touya Kero usually gets his share.
