Chiharu is 10 years old and is currently in the 4th grade at Tomeda elementary. Chiharu hangs out with Sakura at school and is best friends with Yamazaki. She is the one that keeps Yama in line when he begins to tell his outragous stories to fool people, and usually ends up dragging him off before he can finish. Chiharu collects plush toys and her room is a safari zone of toys. She is also very sweet and is on the cheerleading team.
