Hi -my name is Donna and I'm glad you stopped in to meet us.  My husband Gene and I have been together for 41 years this year- and we have been creating and studying and learning along the way for about 20 years.  We have 3 children-and 2 amazingly bee-utiful grand-daughters.

The LilRedShed is located in a small town in Northern Indiana.  Nestled not too far from us is a wonderful Amish Settlement from which we draw not only serenity-but a deep love for creating with a simplistic style.  The most special impact on my designs would be from my "special guardian angel" -my grama.  She left us to live with the Lord in 1972 at 99 yrs of age.  She was a very poor Russian immigrant who came to our country as a stow-away on a boat in 1888 to start her new family.  Grama never had much to give in the way of material things-but her arms were always open and she taught the love of the Lord to her family and all she met.  She taught me as a young girl to have fun with and use what you have on hand to create and inspire others. 

So it was in this old shabby house-with no plumbing-or electricity-with very old worn primitive furniture I first learned about the love of God and I found the most warmth and love that could be given to a child.

So I dedicate my self designed-limited edition -primitive items for sale at the LilRedShed to you Grama Krone because I know you and Mom are helping me from above.
