Emotions I have never felt,
protected in the cradle of innocence
and moistened with the dew of youth.
standing even in the same room
brings a rush of warmth upon me,
and dots the sparkle in my eye
in my heart we dance,
underneath the raven sky
adorned in stars to guide us.
Breathing heavily, hearts racing,
holding onto the feelings-
if only to keep them alive a minute longer.
To cherish the sound of our gentle footfalls,
the smiles on our faces...
the sincerest grins we'll ever know.
Open eyes to reality...
no music to move our feet,
bodies still, and tension high
the raw thoughts of longing in our heads.
nigh are words we'll never say.
still waiting to build the courage....
