LILO KINNE - BODY ART :

Lilo Kinne - Body Art is in itself an ART PROJECT, but can become also part of a MULTIDIMENSIONAL ART PERFORMANCE.
After painting the body of Maho Okuno, a Japanese woman from Kyoto, Japan, a MULTIDIMENSIONAL ART PERFORMANCE has been held with Maho Okuno on the rooftop of Lilo Kinne's studio building and on the streets of SoHo. Other body painting projects have included art performances embodying elements of Lilo Kinne's MULTIDIMENSIONAL PAINTING, MULTIDIMENSIONAL DANCE & THEATER. In Greece, one of the body painting projects, combining the elements of painting the bodies of a man and a woman together on a raft floating on the Mediterranean was photographed by a well known German photographer, who shoots for Mercedes, Porsche, and other internationally important firms. The project took place at his estate at Porto Heli, where he owns a large part of the island, and has his second photo studio. This was a major photo shoot, which included several photographers.

    ART PROJECT
LILO KINNE - ART IN FASHION

The LILO KINNE - OEUVRES D'ART ORIGINALES / ORIGINAL WORKS OF ART are printed as an original silk screen print in a limited edition of 500 and sold at a price of $200-$600 per work.
Instead of being printed on paper, framed and hung on walls, these original works of art on textile have become wearable works of art, and found their contemplation and admiration in the movements of daily life. The museum stores of the Musee d'art modern de la Ville de Paris, and the Centre Georges Pompidou both sold them. The authenticity of the work of art, as well as the respect of the limited edition and the quality of print, were guaranteed by our Gallery in Paris and later by our gallery in New York. Each piece was delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
While in Paris (1982-1989), Lilo Kinne created the ART IN FASHION PROJECT, which were original works of art printed in limited edition on clothes, and sold in the most fashionable stores all over the world. The collection, LILO KINNE ORIGINAL WORKS OF ART IN LIMITED EDITION - PARIS-NEW YORK was shown and sold in special booths displaying a framed, printed top in Paris in Comme Ca les Halles, and Aux Trois Quartiers, in all Galleries Lafayettes and Printemps (not only in France, but also in Finland and Saudi Arabia). It was also presented and sold in Mitsukoshi's, Matzusakaya's, Seibu's, Isetan's and Takashimaya's all over Japan, in fashionable stores in Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and in shops such as Bergdorf Goodman and Henry Bendel in New York City, and Macy's and Bloomingdale's all over the United States.
