Angela the Strange

Growing up there is usually that one girl that when you look at her you think, “Wow, she’s weird.” Well, that girl is Angela Escudero, and I love her to death. She was born on August 29, 1989- just one week before I came into this world. Five years later, we both entered kindergarten at St. Louis of France School, and have been best friends ever since. Being the youngest of four successful sisters, Angela has always tried to attract attention, but does not realize that she was born to stand out. She has a great singing voice and can dance like a pro. Her dreams of becoming famous push her to work harder, and I am confident that she will succeed in fulfilling her goals.

Every part of Angela fits in perfectly with who she is and who she wants to be, including her physical qualities. She has big eyes for taking in everything surrounding her. Her wild hair reflects her crazy personality. That great smile of hers is shown off when being her happy self, or when posing for an imaginary camera. At five feet four inches, she stands tall, protecting the “little people” she cares for so dearly. And even though she has asthma, it is not holding her back from getting what she wants and deserves.

Angela’s personality is matchless. When meeting her for the first time, you can count on her to make you feel at home, but if you anger her, you would not exactly be her favorite person. If there is a project due at school, one of her first ideas would have something to do with performing-singing, dancing, acting-just so she could be in the spotlight, letting everyone see her gifts. Loud and crazy, she always manages to make me smile. She stands up for her friends and her beliefs.  Honesty and responsibility are some of her greatest traits, and she works hard to reach her goals. Ask anybody that knows her and I am sure they will all tell you that she is one hilarious "cool girl," in her words.

Funny, quirky, and loud, Angela Escudero is one of the most interesting people I know. She is confident in herself, and works hard to achieve her ambitions. Her outspoken ability of catching people's attention and dreams of becoming a star set her apart from any other person I have met. Because she is such a cool individual, Angela is one of the best friends I may ever have.
