Raisin Bread
1 c. cut-up, pitted, uncooked raisins Pour boiling water over raisins. Let stand for 2 hours. Depending on pan size. Grease Heat oven to desired temperature , and flour pan. Sift dry ingredients together. Add prune mixture and all other ingedients. Blend thoroughly (about 1 minute). Beat 2 min. medium speed on mixer or 300 strokes by hand. Pour into prepared pan or pans. The cake may be baked in any of the following pan sizes, but make certain to get the correct oven temperature and time of baking:
Tube pan, 350 degrees, for 55 to 60 min. Jelly roll pan, 350 degrees, for 35 min. Coffee can, 1 lb., 350 degrees, 50-60 min. Small frozen juice can, 350 degrees, 30-35 min. Cup cakes 400 degrees, 20-25 min.
