Banana Cake 3/4 cup Butter or Margarine Combine the butter and sugar well. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one. Add the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and one of the boxes of pudding in a smaller separate bowl. Alternate adding the dry ingredients with the milk into the butter mixture. Mix well. The batter will be a little thin.
Pour into a greased and floured 13X9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely. It may fall as it cools.
Mix the Banana creme pudding according to directions on box. Without removing the cake from the pan, ice the cake with the pudding. Decorate with sliced bananas and chopped pecans, if desired.
