There are many different possiblities for the love of Misty's life, but there are a few that stick out more. *NOTE* this page may be kinda based on my opinions, so if you disagree with me please take no offence!
Ash/Satoshi and Misty/Kasumi
"He's a boy and a friend, but he's not my boyfriend." -Misty from the Pokemon 2000 Movie
Ash and Misty are probably one of the most debated couples of Pokemon. They are always fighting (like Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy said, 'Two Who Fight Truly Care for Each Other') but they are really sweet to each other, like when they are hurt or are in trouble. I am not going to go into HUGE detail about them, because if you wanna know bout em, just watch the show. In the show there are small hints and clues which could raise the suspicion of these two being a couple. A huge spoiler was in the Pokemon 2000 the Movie: Revelation Lugia when Ash and the rest of the gang landed on the island, it was their custom that if a young boy was to arrive, the would receive the traditional 'welcome kiss' from one of the young girls. When Melody/Furura kissed Ash, in the background Misty has this look on her face like she had something precious taken away from her, Melody kept asking Misty if she was jealous and if Ash was he boyfriend, Misty simply responded with this famous quote; 'Ash is a boy and a friend, but he's not my boyfriend.' Other times when Ash/Misty was hurt or in trouble the other would come to the rescue and help/save them. Some people think that all of the stuff is because they are the BEST of friends, but I think that it is because deep down, they are afraid to tell each other that they really do care for each other in a loving way because they are afraid the other may not feel the same. One quick example is 'Misty's Song' from the 2.B.A. Master CD (click here for the lyrics). It seems as if she is DIRECTLY singing about her relationship with Ash. Rudy/Jigii and Misty/Kasumi
I don't really know much about Rudy. I don't have many pictures either ^^;. Anyways... Rudy (Jigii in the Japanese version) was the Trovita Island Gym Leader (Orange Islands). He is in the episode, 'Misty Meets Her Match.' In this episode Tracey, Ash and Misty arrive at Trovita Island. Misty notices a young girl who was caught in a whirlpool, so she used one of her pokemon and saved her. The girl Misty rescued happened to by Rudy's younger sister. The gang hangs out there for awhile, during that time Rudy kept showering Misty with praise on her grace, beauty and intelligence and he kept giving her flowers and other gifts. The day before Ash and Rudy's Gym Leader battle Rudy asks Misty to stay with him on the island because it would make him and his little sister very happy. He tells her to give him her answer after the Gym Battle. During the battle Misty keeps thinking to herself about what she should do, and at a climatic moment Squirtle who was battling was about to fall off a cliff, suddenly Misty shouted to Ash that he could beat Rudy and sure enough Squirtle learned Hydro Pump and eventually won. During the battle Rudy realized Misty picked Ash over him. When Ash and the rest of the gang were leaving Rudy pulled Ash aside and said to him (something to the lines of this), 'You're lucky Ash, She chose you over me" and Ash asked him what he was talking about and Rudy responded, "Someday you'll find out." By this I think he knew that Misty loved Ash and that sooner or later they would hook up.
