Frankenstein 2

There are no pictures of my Frankenstein squares yet. They don't actually look like Frankenstein, I just felt like the scientist when i had finally completed them. If you have any suggestions as to making the directions easier to follow, or any comments in general, feel free to email me.

Materials: size 00 steel hook and worsted weight yarn makes a square about 7" depending on the amount of tension used.

ch4, join with a sl st to form ring (you will be working in Rounds), ch1

12 sc in ring. Join with a sl st to 1st sc.
ch 3 to count as 1st dc, dc in same sp, ch 2, 2dc in same sp, *X-st using next 2 sts, (2dc, ch2, 2dc)in next sp, X-st using next 2 sts* rep from * to * around. join w/sl st to top of beg ch-3.
ch 3 to count as 1st dc, fpdc in next st, *(2dc, ch2, 2dc)in corner ch-2 sp, fpdc in next st, dc in next, fpdc in next 2 sts (which are the dc's of X-st), dc in next, fpdc in next. rep from * around, ending w/last 2 sts. fpdc in each st, join w/sl st to top of beg ch-3.
ch1, sc in same sp as joining. sc in each st around, working 4 sc in each ch-2 corner sp, join w/sl st to 1st sc.
sl st into next sc, ch 3, dc in st behind ch-3 (which is same as joining stof last Rnd) *sk 1 st, V-st in next, sk 2 sts, dc in 3rd, dc in st behing dc just made (X-st), (X-st using next 2 sts) twice,* sk 1 st, V-st in next, sk 1 st, 2dc in next, ch2, 2dc in next, rep from * to * around, ending w/last 2 sts, join w/sl st to top of beg ch-3.
ch 3, dc in st behind ch-3 just made(1st X-st), (X-st using next 2 sts) three times, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in corner ch-2 sp, *(X-st using next 2 sts) eight times, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in corner ch-2 sp* rep from * to * three times, ending w/(X-st using next 2 sts) 5 times, join w/sl st to top of beg ch-3.
ch1, sc in same sp as joining, sc in each st around, working 3 sc in each ch-2 corner sp, join w/sl st to 1st sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
