| the 300 six to 351 swap is not easy or cheap, pulling the 300 out turned out to be a chore in itself, it tall heavy and ockward, i would highly recomend not doin it yerself, just the voice of experience.......but it is well worth it in the long run................ |

| My six cylinder was hurtin bad when i was drivin it the 39.5 inch tires did not help any with the factory gears, you can see by the oil on the motor it is in bad shape...... |

| ok well up to this point the motor is pulled and the engine compartment is ready to be cleaned, one of the problems you will come across if you are doin a six cylinder to v-8 swap will be the motor mounts that mount to the cross member, so you will need to get new ones and you will be ready, but the good news for the 302 guys wanting to go to a 351, the 351 will bolt right up....but not to worry you can get them from yer local dealer for about 70 bucks.......woo hoo..... |
| Well im up to this point, going to spend the next week degreesing the engine compartment, and get all the wires put up and away nice and neat, but hopefully next week I will be ready to put the v-8 in its new home......and then spend the next week wiring it up and gettin it to run........... |
