It's always fun to meet celebrities. I've met a few, myself. On this page, I'll tell you who, and what my impression of them was. Keep in mind, that when meeting someone for only a few moments, it's not necessarily what that person really is like. But first impressions mean a lot, don't they?
1998~ Dick Smothers. "The Smothers Brothers" Before a show, Dick met some fans. His wife took Polaroids of the meeting. (They charged $5.00). He was very friendly to everyone. He made conversation with all. I found him to be very intelligent. Maybe even a little bit shy.
2000? Rick Springfield. I never got to talk to him. But I danced with him at a concert. He's still gorgeous, but he really is starting to look his age.
2001~ Weird Al Yankovic, (Steve Jay, and Jim West from his band). I love Weird Al. His talent amazes me. Who could think up stuff like he does? Though I have to admit, he wasn't really very nice. I got the impression he was sick and tired of meeting people that day. Jim West, on the other hand was wonderful. He was great to all the fans who came out. He seemed a little shy, but very kind, indeed. Yes, I still love Al's talent. But I wish (when I met him) he'd have been nicer.
2003~ Bret Michaels. "Poison" Wow!! He's every bit as gorgeous as he was in the 80's. Wow!! He's not the pretty boy I thought he'd be. Yes, still sort of a party boy, but .... Wow!! He was the nicest person. Nice to everybody he met. I loved meeting him. (And being SMUSHED up against him for a good ten minutes!).
1994? Arlo Guthrie. If you ever get the chance to see Arlo, go. A wonderful mix of music and storytelling. And you'll laugh while you're there. A lot. ~ Arlo signed autographs. Posed for pictures. And I got a hug. He's nice. Although I think he was more comfortable doing the show, than talking to fans.
1990~ Phil Collen. "Def Leppard" Although I've seen Def Leppard twice since meeting Phil, I wasn't at a concert the day I met him. We were at a motorcycle race (an ice race) in Colorado. I was there with Rayaldo. He was there with his (then) father in law, Jim. It was really fun meeting Phil. He's sweet. That's the best word to describe him. I got to hang with him a large part of that day. A very sweet guy. (Wow! he hugged me!).
1993? Bowzer "Sha Na Na". Bowzer is a really fun loving guy. Boisterous. Happy. And he remembers people's names. A very good time, if you ever go see him!
2002~ Dennis De Young. "Styx" Dennis put on a really wonderful show. But man. He was very much "the star". I think he seemed uptight. His wife was with him. High heels and spandex. I didn't care much for his attitude.
2002~ Peter Frampton. Wow. A very nice, intelligent, and courteous person. I'm impressed. Peter's a great guy!
1994~ Tom Berringer. Quiet. Reserved. But he was nice. I actually embarrased him. Not purposely. But I'll never forget the pink in his cheeks, on such a leading man. (Sorry, Tom).

9/11/2005~ Green Day! No, I didn't meet the band. I went to the concert in Detroit with my guy. Billy Joe and the guys made it such a high energy and fun show that it just felt like you knew them. GO SEE GREEN DAY!!
