Quiet Moments
"Beloved"
Everyone wants to give themselves completely to someone- to have a deep and lasting relationship with another- to be loved thoroughly and exclusively. However, God says, "No, not until you are satisfied, fulfilled, and content with being loved by me alone, to have an intensely personal and unique relationship with me. Discovering that only in me is your satisfaction to be found and through me alone will you ever be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be completely united with another until you are willing to be united with me, exclusive of anyone or anything else, exclusive of any other desire or longing. I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow me to give you the most thrilling plan existing, beyond your wildest dreams. You see, I want you to have the best. Please allow me to bring this to you. You just keep watching me, expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I am. Keep listening and learning the things I promise and mean. Be patient, that is all. Don't be anxious, don't worry. Don't look around in envy or jealousy and lust after all the things others have gotten or I have given them. Don't look at the people, places, and things you think you want or you think will have you. Do not search outside your self. You just keep looking inward and upward to me or you'll miss what I want to show you. And then when you are ready I will surprise you with a Love far more wonderful than any you would dream of. You see, until you are ready and the one I have for you is ready, you will not be satisfied. I am working, even at this moment, to have both of you ready at the same time. Who knows, you may already be together and are unaware of the beauty you both have at your fingertips. Until you both are satisfied with me and the life I want you to experience, you will not be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with me..A perfect love. And dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love. I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with me. To enjoy perfection and love that only I offer. Know that I love you utterly and unconditionally. I am God Almighty. Believe it, surrender to it, and be satisfied."

I do swear that I'll always be there.
From this moment life has begun
From this moment I have been blessed
I give my hand to you
From this moment as long as I live
You're the reason I believe in love
From this moment as long as I live Shania Twain

As I layed in bed last night
The moon danced 'cross the sky
Slowly A cloud floats by
Outside up in the tree
In time I know you'll be here

Don't be afraid if I say that I love you.
To say those words doesn't mean I desire
When I say I love you it quite simply means
It means that I want you to be who you are
So be open - be honest - be true to yourself Author unknown

~Every day, the minute I wake up...
By...Renee Duvall
~I hold you close to me.
He opens up my mind
1. In kindergarten your idea of a good friend was the person who let you have the red crayon when
all that was left was the ugly black one.
2.In first grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went to the bathroom with you and
held your hand as you walked through the scary halls.
3.In second grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you stand up to the class
bully.
4.In third grade your idea of a good friend was the person who shared their lunch with you when
you forgot yours on the bus.
5.In fourth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who was willing to switch square
dancing partners in gym so you wouldn't have to be stuck do-si-do-ing with nasty nicky or smelly
susan.
6.In fifth grade your idea of a friend was the person who saved a seat on the back of the bus for
you.
7.In sixth grade your idea of a friend was the person who went up to nick or susan, your new crush,
and asked them to dance with you, so that if they said no you wouldn't have to be embarrassed.
8.In seventh grade your idea of a friend was the person who let you copy the social studies
homework from the night before that you had forgot about.
9.In eigth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pack up your stuffed
animals and old baseball cards so that your room would be a "high schooler's" room, but didn't
laugh at you when you finished and broke out in tears.
10.In ninth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who went with you to that "cool" party
thrown by a senior so you wouldn't wind up being the only freshman there.
11.In tenth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who changed their schedule so you
would have someone to sit with at lunch.
12.In eleventh grade your idea of a good friend was the person who gave you rides in their new car,
convinced your parents that you shouldn't be grounded, consoled you when you broke up with nick
or susan, and found you a date to the prom.
13.In twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you pick out a college,
assured you that you would get into that college, helped you deal with your parents who were
having a hard time adjusting to the idea of letting you go....
14.At graduation your idea of a good friend was the person who was crying on the inside but
managed the biggest smile one could give as they congratulated you.
15.The summer after twelfth grade your idea of a good friend was the person who helped you clean
up the bottles from that party, helped you sneak out of the house when you just couldn't deal with
your parents, assured you that now that you and nick or you and susan were back together, you
could make through anything, helped you pack up for college and just silently hugged you as you
looked through blurry eyes at 18 years of memories you were leaving behind, and finally on those
last days of childhood, went out of their way to come over and send you off with a hug, a lot of
memories, reassurance that you would make it in college as well as you had these past 18 year, and
most importantly sent you off to college knowing you were loved.
16.Now, your idea of a good friend is still the person who gives you the better of the two choices,
hold your hand when your scared, helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks
of you at times when you are not there, reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the
past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that
you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your
mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others, smiles for you when they are sad, helps you
become a better person, and most importantly loves you.
Yes, whether I've known you since kindergarten or I just met you a couple months ago, YOU truly
are MY idea of a GOOD FRIEND.
(pass this on to ONLY those you consider to be your GOOD FRIEND, for in this crazy,
ever-changing, unreliable world, only these people are worthy of your praise!)
The mere mention of His name can calm the storm, heal the broken, raise the dead. At the name of Jesus, I've seen sin-hardened men melted, derelics transformed, the light of hope put back into the eyes of a hopeless child...
At the name of Jesus, Hatred and bitterness turn to love and forgiveness, arguments cease.
I've heard a mother softly breathe His name at the bedside of a child delirious from fever, and I've watched that little body grow quiet and the fevered brow cool.
I've sat beside a dying saint, her body racked with pain, who in those final fleeting seconds summoned her last ounce of ebbing strength to whisper earth's sweetest name- Jesus, Jesus.....
Emperors have tried to destroy it; philosophies have tried to stamp it out. Tyrants have tried to wash it from the face of the earth with the very blood of those who claimed it. Yet still it stands.
And there shall be the final day when every voice that has ever uttered a sound -- every voice of Adam's race shall raise in one great mighty chorus to proclaim the name of Jesus- for in that day "every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!!!"
Ah- so you see-it was not mere chance that caused the angel one night long ago to say to a virgin maiden, "HIS name shall be called JESUS."
