Color
I wear my color as a shield,
from inside out.
It's not helping. Though i fight.
Your ignorance is bliss to my intelligence.
My hand not hurting, yielding true pain
from an absent enemy ancient and new.
Unscathed, unending, undone below,
drowning in my color.
All encompassing silent python,
Everywhere my color seeks,
fills the void.
He is gone now.
Death becoming next life,
I shall remember how you left.
Empty unknown, now filled with my color.
Of what was once great innocence,
is now shattered by truthe of lies once learned.
My color now worn as a brand on pale white skin-
of scarred truth, i've battled for.
