| So your asking yourself, why in the hell is she making a site about this band? Well let me tell you untill recently I thought Fenix TX would always be numbero uno, then I saw this band live, and everything changed. They are an amazing group of guys. They are soooo talented. Not many bands are that good vocally when they're live, but they sound just like their cd if not better! Not to mention how nice they are. I think they are one of the nicest group of guys. Aaron expecially. (yeah yeah yeah, so I have a crush on Aaron! It was all about the music, I didn't even know what they looked like untill after I was hooked on them!) Anyways so on June 8th 2003, I had the great pleasure of seeing them live. I had gone to see them, completly oblvious to the fact I had a chance of meeting them. (And two of the other bands) As they played I was up front screaming the lyrics and enjoying every minute of it. They had a great set. All the other bands were amazing as well. I was already a fan of Reel Big Fish(the headline band) but I honestly only went to see Wakefield. haha. Anyways so after the The Matches, Wakefield, and Zebrahead played I met the lead singer of The Matches who was nice enough to sign my cd. And we talked to a few guys from Zebrahead. While Reel Big Fish were playing I looked behind me and who was standing there? Aaron! I was in shock..but I played it off like it was just another guy. He glanced at my Wakefield shirt and smirked. I had already talked to JD and Mike but Aaron is the one I have a crush on haha. During one of the Reel Big Fish songs I turned to tell Aaron and Ryan, "I already told the other guys in the group this but you guys were amazing. You were the sole purpose I came to this show. I had to beg my director to let me come here." Aaron smiled and gave me a hug, and was like "Awww thanks, I'm Aaron, what's your name?" So of course I answered..and the conversation picked up.. And to make a long story short my friend and I had the great pleasure of talking to Aaron, JD, and Mike, whom all signed our CD's.(picture below) And took a picture w/us. That had to be the best night ever! I'll never forget it! Back to the Main page |
