That seems like a harsh punishment for reaching perfection, said Nerys.

I dont know what you mean, she responded.

The punishment for doing what was right in life for yourself and others is to be dead forever, she said, that seems unfair.

Why are there three levels if there is rebirth? asked Caden.  Its a hard concept to grasp, rebirth, without the concept of selective rebirth.

The two first levels determine where and when you are reborn.  Whatever wrongs caused you to be placed in those two levels instead of the Life Stream Core must be paid for in full, said Cahira.

My my!  Its like a jail sentence.  How interesting?  A pagan must have more fun on Holy Days getting to hear such interesting stories.  It must be like a play.  Oh, Caden, can I watch one? asked Xandra.

Cahira smiled a little and looked over at Caden.  Xandra, the King order that the Old Ways are to be forgotten.  It is illegal to celebrate the false gods, he said with a tone too light for Cahira to take too much offense.

Oh posh.  He was always such a bane!  I thought I had found a source of entertainment, she said.  She looked at Cahira as if they were co-conspirators.  Is there a god of fornication? she asked.

Cahira smiled.  There is a few.  For there is many kinds of fornication, she said.

Caden laughed and Xandra looked absolutely enthralled with the idea.  Ifor frowned at the lax attitude  of the Chief Commander in Arms towards the wenchs retelling of the outlawed gods fables.

For once I agree with Xandra.  A Holy Day for the Pagans must be one of pleasure instead of boredom, he said teasingly shooting a smile towards Cahira that caused her body to go hot and her mind numb.
