Migration from proprietary software like SilverStream, ASP, MS SQL to open source like Tomcat, JSP, Servlet, Java Script, PHP, MySQL. Developed the admin/configuration tools using Struts/JSP/ Servlets on the base of Apache Software Foundation. Developed E-commerce portal, supporting sales operation, data update from the web, and entire management of the business over the internet. Implemented SSL for commercial sites. Created various Business Objects: site search engines, navigation trees dynamically fed from DB; EGB Business Objects; database-driven Web Table Objects with inline inventory editing for management, and the possibility to load several items into the shopping cart with single submission; filters, identifying request originator, etc. Developed Servlets and JSP uploads/downloads in and from the database (web). Created JavaScript Shopping Cart code embedded into servlet-generated page and permit instant client-side updates; PayPal Shopping cart implementation with Immediate Payment Notification. Marketing mail objects with history features, which saved as text and arrays of objects in database as the `blob` type. Developed server side and client side field validation routines. Was responsible for developing system management control application with Silver Stream Application Server that remotely executed back office operations. Client development included Dynamic HTML pages using JSP, Swings, Sockets, and RMI Java APIs.
