Sacrifices
This is what separates Catholic-Witches from the rest.  Sacrifices - DO THEM! This will intensify your spell work.  The gods love them.  Look at all your mythologies, look at the bible.  It doesn't have to be blood but you have to give them something. In fact we do not condone any violence. Some examples follow:
Fasting - this can be anything from giving up your favorite food or activity, to not eating for a day.  Just how much do you want your spell to work?

Cleansing - the gods like what you give them to be clean.  This can be anything from whole house, (get down on the floors and scrub them), to dusting off your alter. 

Burning - the gods like smoke, so light up the incense, candles, pictures, spells, flowers, herbs, or anything legal.

Good Deeds - the gods love to see you work for them.  This can be anything from giving to charity to working at a soup kitchen.

Food- even the gods get hungry.  Sometimes it helps a spell to leave a little bit of wine, cookies, bread, candy, whatever.
