FUBAR Spirits
The late 60s were a turbulent time.  Protests, riots, drugs, and free love created a sort of generational war.  Everywhere people were questioning authority and the "Establishment."  Even in the Army, enlisted men and women were finding it was not always so easy to just follow orders.  San Francisco was "the" place to be in the 60s - the home of the Flower Children, heavy metal rock and roll, gay liberation, women's liberation, the black satanic mass, and witchcraft (white and black).  It all came together in that beautiful city on the bay.  Earthquakes were not the only things to shake up this city.  In addition to everything that was going on; it was the time and place of the Zodiac serial killer.  During this time, I was stationed at the Presidio Army Base in San Francisco.  The following are events that took place there.
