Ugh

trees Yeah, yeah, you're getting the same picture; deal with it.

By the time I had enough pretend money to buy the book for the Netware class, it was nowhere to be found. Then I opened my Western Civ book in order to read up on the assigned chapter and discovered that the edition was not the one the instructor told us to buy (however, the accompanying Sources book was the correct one, go figure) and the chapters were no longer there. They were in the book I had used in the first part of the course last semester, which I had sold back to the bookstore. I had no intention of purchasing the book again just for two chapters... There was a happy ending to this, however: the instructor copied the missing chapters and handed them out, thus easing somewhat my feelings of persecution.

I walked off the job and let myself be coaxed back on, at lesser hours, my stress level having been reached and breeched these past few weeks. I have this habit of letting myself get in over my head, because I can't do the selfish thing and Take Time Out For Me, because others are Counting On Me, and anyway I have to maintain my reputation for being dependable beyond the call of duty. I don't walk out of jobs, not me, you have to pry me loose with dynamite... This probably goes far to explain why I'm not rich.

I went and acquired the Writer's Market for 2001 handbook at Border's. It's time I got serious about this writing thing.

Later, dude.

Read my rants.
