"What's this?..." It all started with item check. Cloud and his party arrived at Costa del Sol after a long and devastating boat trip from Junon. The encounter with Sephiroth and Jenova left them confused and restless. That was why Cloud announced a little R&R at the vacation spot which everyone agreed joyfully. Aeris, Tifa, and Yuffie went for a swim. Barret went to the bar for a well deserved drink. "..............(sigh)..." Cloud remained at the inn and started to sort the items and the materias. They have been getting lots of items lately and threw them in the bag like a little kid's toy box. There were stuff they didn't need or didn't even know where it came from... ".....A pair of briefs?......... What the hell....." Cloud scratched his head and threw them out. He spread all the items on his bed and divided the junks from the useful things. It was a painstaking task but their baggage will be a lot lighter afterwards. This was something of a habit of Cloud's. His trainings in Shinra stuck with him everywhere he went. "......Need help?" Cloud almost jumped when he heard the sudden voice. He turned and saw Nanaki standing by the door. His head was tilted a little to the side. "Ahh.... sure....... I'm organizing the items here....so.... can you start on the materias?" Cloud tried to smile but he could feel the uncomfortable twitch on his cheeks. He quickly turned back to his task. Nanaki narrowed his eyes at Cloud's back but obeyed. He slowly grabbed the materia bag with his mouth. Thump...... thump..thu-thump.... Cloud turned to the noise. Nanaki has spread the materias on the bed and some of them dropped on the ground. "....Sorry." Nanaki dropped his forelegs from the bed and picked the materias with his mouth. Then he slowly placed the materias on the bed with his ears and tail flopping down. He looked like a little puppy being yelled by his owner. Cloud couldn't help but giggle. "Here... I'll help." He slowly bent down and started to pick the little materias in his hands. This was something Cloud could do easily, but Nanaki only had one mouth to grab the materias. Cloud watched as he grabbed them one by one and returning to the bed each time. "Nanaki.... I appreciate your help..... but I can manage...... Why don't you go see what the others are doing?" Cloud set the materias on the bed while Nanaki stared sadly with Ifrit materia in his mouth. ".....Ar.....ya.. mah?' Nanaki looked up at Cloud with those irresistible 'sad puppy eyes'. Cloud smiled and shook his head. "No, Nanaki. I'm not mad at you..... I'm really thankful you want to help, but I alyways do this alone... I actually enjoy doing this..." Cloud took the materia from Nanaki's mouth and scratched behind the furry ear. Nanaki usually smile and lean towards Cloud's hand, but he just stared dismayed. Cloud quickly stopped and kneeled to look for other materias. ".......................If... you're not mad.......then..... why are you avoiding me?..." Cloud's body froze. So Nanaki noticed.... "Ever since..... that day...... You've been avoiding me, Cloud..... You don't look at me, you won't be in the same room with me................................. You don't like me anymore?" "Nanaki...." Cloud whispered. It has been two weeks since that day... The day Nanaki confessed his fondness to Cloud.... At first, Cloud thought it was kind of like a friendship thing... but Nanaki proved him wrong by licking Cloud's lips. It wasn't one of those 'friendly' licks he does to Aeris and Tifa..... It was more 'sensual'..... That's when Cloud noticed Nanaki's true feelings. He didn't like Cloud as a friend...... He liked him as a 'partner', a 'lover'... ..... A 'mate'... "Cloud,........ it's your smell....... From the first time I sensed it,..... I couldn't help but to--" Cloud interrupted. He didn't want to hear the rest..... He didn't want to hear Nanaki talking like that. He walked out of the room he shared with Barret. --Two weeks later, Cloud is forced to confront the problem... "......Is it because I'm a male?" Nanaki asked, downhearted. Cloud's shoulders dropped. "Well,..... there's that...... But more importantly........ I'm not your kind......... I can't be your family......... I can't provide you with your........ offsprings..." It was a weird and obvious thing to say, but Cloud knew how serious this was to Nanaki. He heard animals are attracted to female scent and the male would kill other competitions to mate with their prize. Lately, Nanaki had been very protective of Cloud during battles. He even glared at Barret whenever he was close to Cloud. One night, Cloud was about to enter his room and saw Nanaki on his bed. He was sniffing the bed constantly, rolling his body all over the sheets. As a man. Cloud knew the level of stress the creature must be going through. He had felt similar emotions with Tifa, only... not as intense as Nanaki... "I'm not asking you to have pups, Cloud! I just want--......... I just want you to look at me again............ I can't bear you avoiding me...." Nanaki faced down. Cloud bit his lips and looked at the floor as well. He wanted to help his furry friend, but there was nothing he could do.... They were in silence for a while..... until Nanaki spoke. "What's this?..." Cloud looked over the bed and saw the glowing materia. Nanaki stared at the bright violet object, mesmerized. "...I don't know...... It wasn't glowing before......" Cloud narrowed his eyes and saw the true amazement in Nanaki's eyes. Cloud smiled at the innocent creature. "Why don't you activate it? ....... Not in here, of course...." Nanaki nodded and placed the materia on his bangle. Cloud saw him heading for the door and turned back to the items. He sighed inwardly as he was saved by a mysterious materia. He wondered why it glowed, but he was happy as long as it distracted Nanaki for a while. "?!!!" Cloud suddenly felt the bright light fill up the whole room. He turned back to the source. "Nanaki?!" But he didn't see a trace of Nanaki.... Instead, he saw a man kneeling down, giving off a red glow. "Who the--?!" Cloud instinctively reached for his sword and got in a fighting stance. The glowing had stopped and all that remained was a dark skinned man staring at his hands. "Who are you?!! Where's Nanaki??" Cloud yelled. He thought about PHS and calling everyone for a backup, but saw that the man was completely naked and weapon-less.... He opened his mouth again but stopped when the man looked up. ".....Cloud?.." The shaggy dark brown hair. The long pointy ears.. Beaded accessories... The bright green eyes.... ".....................Nanaki?" Cloud blinked. The man nodded. ".............................." ".............................." They stared at each other for a while. Nanaki looked at his hands again and then down at his well built physique. "Did I..... turn in to a human?......" Nanaki felt his head and his ears. He looked back and saw his tail. "Well, ...... not completely..... I guess...." He smiled and scratched his head. Cloud was speechless. He still had his sword up, not really sure what to do... ".....Cloud?....." Nanaki looked at Cloud in wonder. The former soldier quickly put his sword down. "S..sorry..... It was.... just so sudden..." He put the sword on the bed, keeping his eyes on the man.... or Nanaki.... "....Well?..," Nanaki crossed his arms, "what do you think?" Nanaki stood there as if he were a bronze statue.... which, he did actually resembled.... He was at least eight inches taller than Cloud, much wider and muscular. His smiling lips revealed those sharp canines, and Cloud felt a little uncomfortable. But those green eyes were causing more discomfort to the blond. They looked hungry... "........ Is it.... the materia?" Cloud quickly wanted to change the subject. He could hear warning bells ringing. "Yeah.... I think so...." Nanaki looked at his bangle. The violet materia was still glowing. "It's weird..... I didn't even activate it... but all of the sudden, I was surrounded by a bright light..... and-" "Can you take if off?...." Cloud gulped. Was that too immediate?... "........ I don't know..." Cloud sighed when Nanaki didn't seem to notice. Nanaki grabbed the materia and pulled. "................. It's stuck....." "What?..." Cloud almost yelled. He rushed towards Nanaki and grabbed the muscular arm. "Let me try." Without waiting for a response, Cloud tired to pull the materia out of the socket. "Cloud....." "?!!" Cloud jumped when Nanaki's large hand gripped his wrists. "Hold on.... I almost got it..." Cloud tried to pull his hands away, but they were restrained tightly. He slowly looked up at Nanaki's face. "Cloud......" 'Click'... Cloud froze. Nanaki had locked the door behind him... "Nana-!" Cloud was pushed down on the bed. His back hit the materias and they tumbled down the floor. Cloud didn't hear any noise at that moment. "Ow-!" He tried to roll off the bed from discomfort, but Nanaki held him down. "Nanaki..." Cloud pleadingly looked up at Nanaki. But his eyes weren't those gentle green ones he was used to seeing..... Instead, they were of hungry wolf's... "Nana.." Cloud tried to speak, but Nanaki hissed and held Cloud up in his arms. He violently knocked the materias off the bed and shoved Cloud down again. Nanaki immediately worked on Cloud's belt. "Wait! Nanaki-" Nanaki growled and kissed Cloud's mouth deeply. While he devoured the thin lips, Nanaki undid the belt and the pants. By the time Nanaki released his lips, Cloud was completely naked below him. "Nanaki! Stop!" Cloud shouted, but all he got in response was a bite on his nipple. He sucked his breath in from the sudden pain. Nanaki then slowly started to lick it. He then licked the other, and then his abdomen, and slowly made his way down. "Ahh....a..aa.." Cloud started to moan and it excited Nanaki even more... After he licked Cloud from head to toe, he flipped the pale body over. He started to lick again, only this time, it was inside... "Ah! Nanaki!!..." Cloud yelped as the long tongue traveled its way in. It felt as though it had a mind of its own, salivating all over the inner ring. "?!" When the tongue slipped out of him, Cloud started to resist violently. He knew what was coming next and couldn't just lay there waiting for it to happen. "Nanaki!! Don't do this!! Nanaki!!!" He tried to turn over and kick Nanaki off the bed, but before he could do that, his hands were pressed tightly against the sheets. He shook his head and legs violently until he felt the sharp fangs on the back of his neck... "??!...." It wasn't enough to pierce through Cloud's skin, but it was enough to make him still. That was all Nanaki needed. "?! Ahgghhh!!!!......." Cloud nearly screamed when he felt the hot thick member enter him. He pressed his face down on the pillow and squeezed his eyes shut. The more tense he got, the more pain..... So, he breathed deeply and let his muscles relax. He felt the hot breath on his neck quicken as he was rocked hard. Nanaki came pretty quickly. But the shaft inside Cloud was still rock solid. Cloud sighed deeply and opened his mouth. "....You're going to regret this later...." He glared back at those predatory eyes. Suddenly, Nanaki's gentle eyes returned and shook his head. "No.... If I don't do this now... I'm going to regret it for the rest of my life...." Tears rolled down from the emerald eyes. It hurt Cloud because he knew everything he was saying was true. Those eyes would never lie.... "Nanaki....." Cloud slowly and steadily turned over so he was face to face with Nanaki. He embraced the thick neck and pulled him for a kiss. "Cloud?.." Nanaki seemed surprised at first, but he quickly returned the kiss. After a long passionate kiss, Cloud breathed hard and looked up at Nanaki with wet eyes. "Just.... don't tell this to the rest of the gang?...." They both laughed and embraced each other. Nanaki started to move inside Cloud again, but this time, Cloud didn't resist. He held tightly to the muscular body, dark shaggy hair tickling Cloud's body as they moved. "-oud... Cloud, wake up.." Cloud slowly opened his heavy lids. "Unn...? Nanaki?..." Cloud rubbed his eyes. Nanaki laughed and licked the soft cheeks. "I think everyone's going to be coming back soon....." Cloud sighed and placed his head back on those soft fur. Wait... He quickly got up and saw that Nanaki was back to his furry self. "Was it........ a dream..?" He tried to move. "Aah!!" "..........Guess not....." Cloud sighed as he felt the familiar pain throughout his body. "I cleaned the materias away.... but I didn't know if you wanted me to touch the items or not....." Nanaki said. Cloud looked at the other bed and nodded. "Thanks... I can do the rest...." After putting everything away, Cloud took a quick shower and decided to go staright to bed. He heard the others eating downstairs, but he was just too tired from all the things that happned at once... "............................. Nanaki...." Cloud entered his room and saw Nanaki sleeping on his bed as if it was his own. Cloud knew Nanaki was only pretending to be asleep, so he yanked on his whiskers. "Ow!!! Why did you do that for?!" "Scoot over, boy... Master needs some space." Cloud commanded as if to a dog and laughed. Nanaki glared wickedly and bit Cloud's shirt and pulled him down. "Why you-!" "You started it!!" They wrestled playfully and Cloud was down for a count. "I give up, I give up!!" Nanaki released Cloud and licked his cheek. "You're back to your old self again...." Cloud looked down. "Nanaki.... I'm sorry I avoided you.... I didn't mean to--" "It's okay Cloud," Nanaki snuggled closer to Cloud's neck, "I just wanted for you to be happy and laugh with me again...... That's all I ask.." "Nanaki........ If... I'm ever to be born your kind,......... I would-" Without a doubt be your mate..... "You would what?" Nanaki looked up at Cloud. "Nothing... Good night." Cloud smiled and kissed Nanaki's forehead. "G'night, Cloud." Cloud snuggled on the warm fur until he remembered something. "Nanaki?.... Where is the materia?" Nanaki shrugged. "I don't know.... When I woke up.. it was already gone from my bangle...." ".......Oh.." Cloud sighed in relief, ignoring the little feeling of disappointment... After a while, Cloud was deep in sleep. Nanaki opened his eyes and felt his beads on his hair. A mischievous face was revealed by the violet glow. He gazed at it for a while and tucked it away in his hair again. Nanaki's first lie to Cloud... Only Nanaki and the violet glow knew... End |
She waited patiently for this fic.... And I thank her... My excuse was; "The PC I was using at that time lost its memories...." And I am deeply sorry my PC is retarded... I apologize on its behalf... This fic was a little too cute for me..... I wanted more angst, but Cloud and Nanaki are stuck until they defeat Sephiroth... so I didn't want them to be in a bad relationship... Nanaki's right eye is not working, I think.... (or was it the left?) Either way, I know he has an ugly scar across his pretty eye... Poor guy... Um.. anyway...... Here's to you, Lorelei* |
