Emily Leatham Emily is the only child of Scott and Marissa Leatham. Throughout Emily's childhood Scott battled a gambling addiction which had, at times, managed to threaten the family's contracting buisness. However, his addiction subsided during Emily's high school years. By the time Emily was a junior in college, her father had steadily begun to sink back into his addiction. To keep Marissa from seeing their money dwindling, he began dipping into the savings that was funding Emily's college education. While Emily was in medical school her father managed to loose the all the money in her college fund. In an act of despiration, and to keep his daughter in school, he took out a loan from the Vincetti family. Instead of paying them back as planned, he gambled away what he could pull away from his and Marissa's buisness. The Mafiaso promptly had him killed. Instead of retaining possession of the Leatham's business and property, the Mafiaso retained Emily as a personal physician as their money had funded their medical education. Upon completion of her residency Emily was promptly escorted back to Las Vegas to work for the family. Emily has been working for the family for 2 years with little protest. However, she has been dilligently saving what money she can secretly, to pay off the money her father owed the Vincettis in attepmt to clear the Mafiaso from her her and her family's lives. Back
