A/N: This is a story that just leads itself. I have absolutely no idea where this is heading or when it will stop itself. So please bare with me! -_-;; I, actually, am still exploring this story as well. R/R please!!!!!

~Azure Burning~

A pale star flickered in the dark sky, drawing attention to those who looked above the boundless heaven. A frown was brought upon a particular figure that saw that twinkle. Brown eyes that had been fogged from old age narrowed and leered at the soft twinkle in recognition. Getting up from a lying position on his bed, he quickly grabbed his staff and thumped on the floor.

Trier, come briskly, the old man said huskily, not taking his eyes off the star.

The door to the private sanctuary creaked open and a young boy came in. Yes, Master? the youth questioned timidly.

Go fetch the chart quickly. The chart on the table, the old man waved his hand toward a finely crafted oak table to clarify his command.

Yes, Master, the servant obeyed and started searching through layers and layers of old documents and papers on the desk. After leafing through hundreds of sheets, he finally sighted the thing he was looking for. The chart was delicately engraved with beautiful drawings and pictures of the constellations of the night sky. Thousand of little dots were scattered accordingly over the papyrus, each put at a precise point. Grabbing it the boy strolled quietly in front of the aged man.

Is this what you are looking for, Grand Seer? he asked.

Yes, thank you, Wrinkled hands firmly reached out and took the map. Moonlight shone down from the glass roof of the private quarters of the Grand Seer, illuminating the picture with silver light. The old mans forehead furrowed as his old but skillful hand danced above the paper, searching for something. With great curiosity, Trier peeked at the old chart as well.

No need to peek boy. Just ask and youd be allowed, the Grand Seer said without looking up from what he was doing.

A pale blush of embarrassment tinted the boys cheeks as he was accused, I apologize, Master.

No need, no need. Come and have a look, with that, the Seer spread the papyrus on his bed, I have taught you to search a star chart have I not? the boy nodded and he continued, Come then, help me search for the Heartkeep Star.

The Heartkeep Star, Master? the boy asked startled. The Heartkeep Star was the easiest star to find in the sky or a chart; all novices entering the studies of astronomy begin their first lesson in locating this star, surely the Grand Seer would not be having trouble finding it.

Yes, child, the Heartkeep Star, Trier could tell by the tone that the old man was serious.

Leaning over the bed, the boy quickly scanned the map. With ease, Trier pointed out the star on the map proudly. The Grand Seer looked at where the hand pointed to and smiled. Good, child. You have not lost your skill unlike some other, A tone of bitterness could be sensed nearing the end but was quickly gone as he continued, Now, find it in the sky for me,

Trier really thought he was joking this time, but with one glance at the Seer, he knew the old man was not joking. He tilted his head up to the glass roof and searched at the endless sky. Thousand of bright jewels twinkled back at him like tiny raindrops of diamonds. He sighed softly; the night sky had always made him feel relaxed. Scanning quickly, his soft purple eyes darted here and there looking for the Heartkeep Star.

After a few minutes of searching and not seeing the glowing star, he looked down at the Seer with confusion. At a moonless night like this, the Heartkeep Star would be the brightest of all its kind, shining like the rarest of diamonds, its light as bright almost like a second moon.

Cannot find the star, boy? a teasing smile hung on the old face of the Grand Seer. Sometimes, the easiest thing could be the hardest to find. In this case though, he paused and sighed, it has crossed path with the darkest star in the sky.

The Fading Star?! Trier asked startled. It wasnt uncommon for a star to bind and eclipse each other, but the Heartkeep Star and the Fading Star never eclipsed nor even got closed to any other star, and definitely not each other. Thats impossible!

Look up, child, at the sky, the aged man said. Trier looked up as commanded. Search for a pale violet light, boy. It is halfway between Arecus the Tranquil and Tyr the Brave. He said naming out the names of two famous constellations.

Trier looked up again into the raven sky. He searched for the clusters of Arcecus and Tyr and slowly found his way between the two. Just like what the Grand Seer had said, a pale violet dot hung in the dark night, giving a pallid glow to the surrounding blackness.

Is that it, Master? the boy pointed upward toward it.

Indeed, the old man nodded, The Fading Stars blue glow had veiled over the red Heartkeep Star, dimming its color to just a mere violet blush. It is a sight that would last forever

Something clicked into Triers mind as the Grand Seer said that. The prophecy, he gasped suddenly remembering just the exact words of the last sentence. It sounds just like the legends prophecy.

Yes, that prophecy was rather true, unlike some legends. Heaven had finally made its decision it seems. The future had already shifted its destined course, Trier noticed as the words were spoken that the Grand Seer sounded older than usual, tired and dreadful.

Then that means-

Yes, the chains that bind the Ungrateful had shattered like glass. He had once again arisen from the binds, and already made his first move upon the land

But those people, they are coming right? Trier asked like a child scared yet curious to hear the ending of a story.

They are- the Seers voice was cut off as a light emerged from the old star map, a stream of light blasted toward the sky and faded away as quickly as it had came. After the intense light died down, a white symbol was engraved onto the upper left corner of the map. Not taking his eyes off the map, the Seer continued, They are coming. Yes, they are, child. But it seems, that it is already too late
