ACTIVITIES
Mini golf Feb. 28 cost: Time: Location This will be our first patrol outing. We will be meeting at the mini golf place. We will take a little time over snacks to discuss our next outing in March, our patrol flag and yell. So bring your ideas! Camping March 21-23 cost: TBA Location: Illahee State Park We will be meeting on Friday at 4:30 and setting up camp. Saturday we will be leaving for a couple of hours to do the Scouting for Food. Then we will come back and enjoy some fishing and crabbing. Sunday we will do a service project for Illahee. This will be a great time for all of us to work on requirements for the camping merit badge as well as rank requirements for William. Other activities for this weekend are still up in the air. |
PATROL LEADER�S PARAGRAPH The hardest thing about earning the Honor patrol award for us will be increasing membership. So my goal is for each of us to recruit one person into our patrol. If you know a Scout who hasn�t been coming feel free to invite him to our outings. Let us show them what they are missing. |
PATROL CORNER MINUTES From Feb.17, 2003 We discussed what our patrol name was and decided on the Rams. Planned our mini Golf night for Feb. 28. This outing has been approved by Mr. Brooks. Mr. Whitehurst is taking care of our tour permit and Mr. Campbell will be coming as our second adult leader. RJ has been assigned to find out cost and hours and will notify us on the 24th. We started planning our camping trip to Illahee on March 21-23. Mr. Brooks approved this trip with the condition that we particapate in the Scouting for food Pickup on Sat. This will give us two service projects that weekend which will greatly help us move up ranks. Mr. Whitehurst and Mr. Campbell will be our adult leaders and Mrs. Whitehurst will watch our camp for us while we are gone. William has been assigned the menu planning to fulfill his requirements for 2nd and 1st class. |
