ALL STAR HOLYFIELD FOUNDATION CONCERT
A February Friday, the begining day for Atl.'s All-Star Weekend, the whole Atl. was going wild over all sorts of events going down that weekend. While many others assist other events such as all star basketball games and clubbing with other artists, a couple of others and me chill and wait to see Bone Thugs at The Holyfield Foundation's event, waiting patiently going through other artists performances. When I got there, dumb shit happened; First, my friends and I had to look for a parking space all over the damn place, till finally we found one and parked for $8, Second we took a camcorder and a couple of disposable cameras to take as much as we could of the event, but, the muthafucking security guards made us go back for the first time to our car to leave the damn camcorder and after a fucking 10 minute walk we got back to the security guards and got checked, when all of the fucking sudden my brother had the disp. cameras in his pockets so that nigga wanted us to go back and leave them shits in the car, but we said fuck it and we just hid them under a table so we wouldnt have to go back (those were some $15 for both cams. so thank God nobody jacked our shit). Well, anyways, we're in and first thing we see in there is some bitches with cameras so I just started fucking cursing niggas out for not letting me in with some (Fuck them hoe ass cops and security). Well so we're in and shit was supposed to start at fucking 7:00pm, but hell nah, shit started at fucking 9:30, so that was 2 fucking hours late. And finally after waiting for that shit to start we just chilled, waiting for Bone to be the next one's to be out to perform, and then after like 2 hours or so at around 12:00 a.m., Bone is called out and shit starts to get fucking loud and crazy, the little crowd on the big ass room, was going wild over Bone and believe or not although Bone dont get enough recognition as they used to before they still get more respect than most of todays artists, most definitely , and I was sure of that after this being my 2nd time of assissting to a Bone show. They got the crowd going crazy as hell with the Crepping on ah Come Up intro to get shit started, secondly they performed Thuggish Ruggish Bone, and then Foe da love of $, First of da month, Dayz of our Livez, Notorious Thugs, Thug Luv, Crossroads, and finally Home, which they mentioned they had just released, so I'm guessing that shit is on tv now and yall had peobably seen it already (if not you should check the link on the "Bone News" section of this site and watch that shit, its off the hook, personally one of their best videos so far). Well, while there and while Bone was performing, Steve Lobel went down to the crowd and started just checking the people out and shit, till these girls next to me called him up like "Steve, Steve!!!" and so he came to them (cuz they looked aight, some at least, they were like 4 or 5), so anyways they asked hm if they could get the hook up to meet Bone and shit and he told them to just catch up to them after the show and go to the Something Hotel and that they would see whats up there, I wanted to get the hook up too but I said "Fuck it" and now i regret it. I talked to Steve and just asked him shit like "Whats up with this and that?" and basic shit like that but yeah a few words are somehting so I'm cool tho. This aint that much of a good review but its something and well it atleast tellls you somehting of what went down from my point of view, so its better than nothing.....I hope to have more info on anything else on the next Bone show that i get to go to.......for this performance, thats all I gotta say, that it was off the hook and that no one but B2K had a better response from the public, so you could say Bone is still respected by the fans even if not by the fucking media.....so fuck the media and fuck the haters, and thats all i gotta say for this.............Shit was off the muthafucking hook, niggas!!!!!!!
