A-20 Havoc: This ground attack aircraft was used mostly in just a ground attack role which it erased targets all over Europe and the Ardennes forest in the Battle of the Bulge in support of Allied troops on their advance to take Germany.

A-26B: This bomber was just used as a medium range light-medium bomber to attack German strategic points around Europe.

B-17 flying fortress's and P-51 escort fighters in 1943 coming back from a run at the scheinfurt ball-bearing factores. notice the damage to the hydrics systeme on the B-17 because the gear won't go down.

A B-17 flying fortress droping here bombload on targets in Europe.  Notice the larget FLAK rounds from 88mm or PAK 40 ack ack guns which could ripe aircraft to pieces with a direct hit.  FLAK poars scrapnal from the rounds all around and it could easity damage vital systems on aircraft like the hydrolics or engine or the structures. Maruading aircraft always faced FLAK in Europe and Germany they were scary missions.
