C-47 Dakota:This transport was the best of WWII, it was used as a transport for paratroopers and for carrying cargo. It was used in the assault on the Arhem bridges and in the Normandy invasion in June 6th, 1944 the start of the Liberation of Europe.
C-54 Skymaster: This was transport was used in the later part of WWII and in the Berlin airlift where these aircraft had to fly non-stop into Berlin giving supplies to the Berliners because the Russians set up a roadblock to keep supplies from getting to the Germans from the road.
You should notice C-54s had 4 engines and had a great capacity for supplies or troops.
UC-78 Bobcat: These small transports were used for just bringing supplies to short ranges. It had a crew of 2 and a crusing speed of about 105mph.
