All Aboard!! The Wine Train is a must for anyone visiting the valley.  
Although it is a bit on the pricey side, the meal is worth it.  The countryside that you ride thru is
beautiful, and there are many different wines to choose from.  
     The only drawback to this trip is that I took it late in the evening.  By the time we got 
underway the sun had started to set, and half way thru it was dark.  Second and most 
important....the wine is EXTRA. Yes you pay as you drink.  Also I had a notion that
while we were traveling thru the heart of Wine Country someone would be talking about
all of the points of interest along the way. NOT.  I had hoped for a small history lesson or
something.
     My advice would be to take the trip during the early part of the summer when 
the days are longer, and buy a whole bottle of wine right at the beginning of the ride.
Tour all of the wineries prior to this trip.  After all it isn't much more than a nice dinner on a train.
Don't get me wrong....It's a perfect end to a perfect vacation.
